Gasignition Limited was incorpated in June 2006 to take over the gas ignition business previously know as Buccleuch Engineering. This company which was located in Scotland, was the leading manufacturer of specialist spark electrodes for gas water heaters and boilers through the United Kingdom.

The newly formed Gasignition closed the manufacturing operation in Edinburgh and transferred the manufacturing of these electrodes to a sister company, Derlite, in order to centralise manufacturing.

The company was appointed as sales agent for Derlite early in 2007 addding spark generators and power cords to its product range.

Through the Manchester distribution centre, Gasignition supplies customers throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
